Hand Dyed Romney Wool/ Easter egg color dyed

Description

This Romney wool was dyed using paas easter egg dye. The color is a nice green with a range from light green to a darker green. I wash and dye all of my own fibers unless it is stated otherwise. You can read about and see pictures of the process of using these dyes. I like using them because they are very safe for children. Even when using natural dyes you have to use very dangerous chemical mordants before you dye the fiber. Not so when using these dyes. I just add vinegar. Great for knitting children's mittesn and hats and more.
