Bridal Bouquet - Necklace

Description

Pearls always strike me as the quintessential bridal accessory - classic, feminine and romantic. With pearls as a main focus, and using a variety of complementary materials, I think I have created a simply stunning bridal piece. It has a distinct vintage feel, with all the romance of a bygone era.

The focal piece of this necklace is a pale pink lucite rose. It is suspended from a 20 inch strand of white pearls, all individually wrapped using antiqued brass. For a layered look, I have added a second strand of blush pink pearls, wrapped with the same brass wire. This strand hangs asymmetrically, fastened higher on one side. Finally, a delicate brass chain hangs at choker length. Because I firmly believe that every wedding needs some Swarovski crystal I have added a single semi-opaque, AB-coated 8mm Swarovski crystal bead.

This necklace would look perfect with either a white or ivory dress, and would be a lovely match for a simple pearl, swarovski or diamond earring.
