Sensuous Sapphire

Description

What is it about the sensuous blue of a Sapphire that draws us in? There is something mysterious about a Sapphire. Kings wore them as a defense from harm and some believed that they attracted divine favor. This one is a dark blue Burma Sapphire. It is an 8x6mm oval that is 1.47 carats. It's rare for me to have a Sapphire and I'm happy too be able to offer you this one.

The sterling silver ring is handmade. It is a very feminine 2mm wide and is made in two layers. The top layer is a very narrow band running all the way around the ring. It rises up to meet the gem. On either side of the Sapphire you will find a tiny handmade silver ball tucked under the top band. Life is too short to wear ordinary jewelry!

This ring is a size 6.75.

My rings come in a lovely ring box ready for giving. It will be beautifully packaged and will arrive by insured mail within the US. For my international customers, I will use flat rate priority whenever possible.
