Rosary of Fire-Polished Topaz-Glass Beads with Modern Crucifix
Description
This is a traditional five-decade Catholic rosary handmade from 8-mm beads of topaz-colored, faceted, fire-polished glass beads.Handmade by Isaac.
The polished brass crucifix is of a pleasantly modern design. The brass center is a Miraculous Medal. The chain is handmade from brass eye-pins and small segments of manufactured connective chain, also brass.
The main photograph and first two thumbnails are taken in ambient light. The last two photographs are taken with flash and give a good sense of the color and fire of the faceted glass beads.
The overall length of the rosary is 25 inches.
The loop of the rosary has a circumference of 33.5 inches.
The crucifix is 2.5 x 1.5 inches.
The center is 1.0 x 0.75 inches.
