Abalone and Lucite Ashtray Retro Kitsch

I love this fantastic 1980s ashtray in a paramecium shape. There are huge and glittery abalone slabs embedded in Lucite on a black layer, and the removable black glass ash tray cup is the epitome of cool. You could use it for candy, nuts, or any small stash, if you’re not a smoker or just on display. It would also be a great gift for a guy or gal who’s into retro collectibles. I can see it on a home bar top or coffee table in a retro-themed den.

Wear and tear: scratches on the surface of the clear lucite, a ding in the glass ashtray (pictured) and some small chips on the underside edges. Other than that, the piece is in good condition. It was made by Design Gifts International, Inc. in the USA, dated 1984.

This ashtray will be wrapped carefully to avoid breakage and sent in a small Priority Mail box.
