Stormy night sky earrings

Description

These lamp work beads (from torchdbeads) are made of a lapis blue with swirls of white and black, which remind me of a stormy night sky. They are done in a matte finish which really makes the vintage bead caps just pop!

I gave them a layer effect with the bead caps from my Great Grandmothers jewelry collection which dates more than 40 years old. Of course if you know me, you know I can’t make a pair of earrings without some sparkle of Swarovski crystals in a complimentary blue.

The set of earrings dance on a pair of fancy sterling silver headpins. I finished them off with handmade sterling silver ear wires; I will also include a pair of rubber backs to prevent the earrings from sliding out of your ears.
