This print holds a special place in my heart. Inspired, by my step-mother, Lee Anne, "Riding the Storm Out" represents her struggle with Huntington's Disease. For those of you who don't know, Huntington's Disease is a devastating, hereditary, brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure. HD slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, think, talk and reason. Eventually, the person with HD becomes totally dependent upon others for his or her care. Huntington's Disease profoundly affects the lives of entire families -- emotionally, socially and economically. Nearly a quarter million people in the US alone suffer from HD, and yet so little is known about it.

Lee Anne has been such an inspiration to me, and I hope she can inspire you too! $20 from the sale of each print will be donated to Huntington's Disease research.

This print measures just over 16.5"x7" inches and is centered on a large sheet of acid free paper. A nice white border for framing.

All images are printed with Epson UltraChrome archival inks, on lovely matte paper. The original illustrations are executed in my signature Acrylic & Oil Wash technique. Each print is signed with love by yours truly, and mailed in a sturdy flat mailer.
