**Newsflash: "Mr Cabernet" is published in the Oct 09 edition of Haute Handbags, a Somerset Publication. I only have 2 of these handbags left, out of a limited edition of 4. One is being photographed for the magazine shoot, the other is with me until the magazine comes out in Oct. Or, unless you buy it :o)

I have given hundreds of old, discarded wool sweaters new lives as children's and women's sweaters, pillows, and jewelry pieces. But I believe my true love is to refashion wool sweaters into irresistible handbags. Each is one-of-a-kind, and you won't see anyone else with such a lovely, unique handbag. They are beautiful. Sadly, the photos don't do the handbag justice...

This handbag is an absolute work of art, created from a combination of felted recycled wool sweaters, handpainted wool felt, and has beautiful needlefelted "paintings" added to the front. The handbag closes by a strap covering a magnetic clasp, hidden by the needlefelted flower. The grey panel front is a pocket. The lining is made of cotton fabrics, and wool felt. Please note, this handbag takes me TWELVE hours to make, and it is absolutely fabulous, a bargain at twice the price.

Also, please note that the handbag, though made from sweater fabric, is sufficiently lined so it stands up on it's own. This purse is no Plain Jane, and it's not a Floppy Flo either! The measurements are 8 1/4" wide x 8 1/2" tall x 3" deep at the base. The distance from the TOP of the body to the top of the strap measures 21". Please convo me if you have any questions.
