Glass Easter Egg Victorian Ornament in Turquoise and White

What a great Easter decoration this will make that is sure to draw attention and comments. There are actually four ornaments in this collection. They can be purchased separately or together as a set with the four-arm ornament stand as shown on the 5th picture. They are all one of a kind and the base ornaments are no longer available.

This ornament is a beautiful 2” x 3” shiny blown glass egg shaped ornament with vertical blended hues of turquoise and yellow on a white base. The base ornament is decorated with 44 genuine Swarovski flatback crystals in colors of aquamarine, Blue Meridian, Jonquil and Vitral Light forming flowers and buds that vine around the open space of the ornament. It is trimmed in a 2" ti 2½” quality graduated turquoise beaded fringe made turquoise seed beads and bugle beads and acrylic light turquoise teardrops and bicones. This is a thicker fringe than most with the fringes being spaced ¼” apart. The fringe is edged with a ½” turquoise sequined trim and very beautiful white lacy scalloped trim with light aqua sequins on every other section. The top of the ornament is decorated with the same trim and two beaded fringes as well. There are two white silk miniature rose buds with white silk baby’s breath, turquoise flower accents, white flowers with yellow center vining down the front and accented by miniature pale yellow daisies. The top is an array of ribbons including a slightly iridescent scalloped edge ½ turquoise ribbon, a sheer wired turquoise ribbon, 1/8” pale yellow and turquoise satin ribbons, narrow white and turquoise picot edge satin ribbons, a sheer white and gold ribbon with satin edges, and a sheer gold and turquoise ribbon. There are eight different kinds of ribbon on this ornament and over a yard of each kind, making for a very fully compact Easter bonnet. Total hanging height is 8".

There are three other ornaments similar to this, one in turquoise and bright yellow, one in pink and lavender, and one in periwinkle blue and navy blue.

The stand shown on the fourth picture is a listed separately as a Large Twisted Brass Ornament Stand for $8.00 with no additional shipping charge. The four arm stand will be listed separately for $12.00 with no additional postage. I will do a $7.00 discount listing for all four ornaments with the four-arm stand for $85.00. All ornaments come with a free white gift box and are shipped in a sturdier cardboard box by First Class Priority U.S. Mail with delivery confirmation. Extra postage will apply if shipped outside of the U.S. Please convo us if you are requesting foreign shipping and we will obtain accurate charges. Our prices are not set to absorb extra shipping charges and from what I have seen so far, it is quite expensive to ship outside of the USA. We are not out to make money on shipping and will refund any overage paid over 75 cents.

You will not be disappointed as this ornament is even more beautiful in real life than in the photographs. Each ornament is one-of-a-kind and is initialed on the top of the back by the artist. They are built to last for years and years with gentle care and proper storage and are actually sturdier once decorated.

These are for decoration purposes only. The fringe is not Swarovski, but the crystals handset on the ornaments are, that is only way to keep the prices affordable. Swarovski® (Swore-off-ski) crystal components are regarded as the highest quality machine cut and polished crystal beads in the world. You should be aware that Swarovski crystals are made with some lead in them. It is ingrained into the crystals in the process of making them much the same as leaded glass crystal glasses. Personally, I think the air we breathe daily is more harmful. However I would not allow children to chew on these decorations or swallow the crystals.
