Crocheted Recycled Silk Hooded Shawl / Poncho

This absolutely gorgeous shawl is hand crocheted from 100% recycled silk yarn. Layer it over a dress to add a touch of warmth and a ton of style or pair it with jeans to dress up your favorite outfit. Complete with a hood for added warmth and flare - you will stand out in this totally unique piece. The yarn that I use to make these is a hand-spun fair trade yarn made by women's cooperatives in Nepal. It is made from the silk strands left on looms after weaving sari fabric. So you can feel as great about wearing it as you will feel while wearing it!!

The stretchy nature of the crocheted fabric make this a one size fits all. If, however, you order one and are unhappy with the fit please let me know and I will happily make one to suit your needs. I can also make these without hoods if prefered.

Care instructions: Hand wash cold water with a mild detergent and lay on a flat surface to dry.
