Rainbow Butterfly Fairy fiber sculpted art doll SILK FACE

Description

This sweet little fairy is all the colors of the rainbow...from her wild, wispy hairdo to her body/wing fabric.

She measures 8.5" tall from the tip of her toes to the top of her head. She is designed to either hang on the wall or to dance from a bit of colorful ribbon or clear fishing line. I would also be happy to send enough yarn along, the same as her hairdo, if you'd like to have her dance from that.

Her body/wing fabric is a beautiful, cotton batik. The entire sculpture is firmly stuffed with acrylic fiberfill and has inner wire armatures in her arms and wings. The wings have been lightly filled with fiberfill and top stitched into a design. Her wings are in the shape of butterfly wings. There is a loop on the back from which to hang her.

Her colorful, wispy hairdo was designed from an "eyelash" style yarn and is accented with s silk flower whose center I accented with 3 Swarovski crystals. Her other accents are a Swarovski crystal necklace, with a Swarovski crystal flower bead in the center, a crystal belly button, another Swarovski crystal flower and 4mm crystals sewn into her waist accent, and Swarovski crystals sewn into the center back of her wings. Oh yes, she will also have a Swarovski crystal on the tip of each toe. (I took the photos before I had them sewn on)

Her face is 100% silk fabric, which has been individually hand-drawn, needle-sculpted and hand-painted. Her eyes and lips have a coat of crystal clear lacquer, which gives her a very life-like, 3-dimensional look and shine.

She is one fun fairy, and would make a magical addtion to any collection, or a truly one-of-a-kind gift idea.
