wood Lion Wall Hanging handmade
Description
Material: woodSize: 6 1/4" x 8 1/4"
Starting with a solid piece of lumber, and using a scroll saw, I cut 31 sections of wood. Each section was shaped, then hand sanded. I used layers of leather dye and stain to create the rich tones of color. The eyes were painted with acrylic paint. I finished the lion with coats of tung oil to bring out the colors even more. A backing and a sawtooth hanger are added so he can be hung on your wall when he arrives!
