Life in Color - Purple CHAI, sterling silver and amethyst necklace.

Description

Whimsically looking scroll in the middle of the necklace spells ‘CHAI’ in Hebrew. Chai means ‘alive’ or ‘living”. Organic form of this original* design represents beauty and complexity of life. This is one of the liveliest CHAI designs around.

CHAI is also a number 18 in Hebrew and as such CHAI designs are traditional presents for the 18th, or the multiples’ of 18, birthday and anniversary.

The centerpiece of the necklace was free formed and cold forged by hand from sterling silver wire. Light hammered finish was applied for added strength and delicate sparkle. Round amethyst stones were wire wrapped onto the frame. The focal is matched by the necklace of sterling silver chain decorated with wire wrapped links of amethyst and silver beads. Amethyst accented claw clasp and 2”long extender chain are added for flexibility.

Amethyst is a birthstone of February. On metaphysical level amethyst is known to calm and protect the mind and the nervous system, to reduce negativity and alleviate anxiety.

Length – ~16” – 18” (40- 45cm). The centerpiece is ~ ¾” (18mm) high and ~ 1 ¼” (30mm) wide. The necklace will come to you packed in a gift box.
