Spalted Elm Jewelry Box

Description

A strikingly spalted bandsaw jewelry box made from one piece of elm that was salvaged from a woodpile, destined for ashes! The fungal lines throughout the wood give a striking, marbled appearance. The slide-out drawer has a lift-out, upper tray that reveals the lower compartment. All compartments are lined with rich browntone flocking. Dividers and compartments are in original positions so that the grain pattern of the wood flows throughout the piece!
Black cast, metal knobs.
