MAD MEN Double Chiffon Vintage 60's Green Nightgown Peignoir Set XS

Ooo, beaUtiful! If you're a big fan of Mad Men, as I am, you'll know this is *so* Betty Draper.

Very 1960s goddess.

As many years as I've been collecting and dealing in vintage, I've never seen a set like this. The complete sets are difficult to find, let alone one with such great style, let alone one in (cocktail) olive green! You provide the pimento. And martinis.

Double chiffon with olive on top, white underneath. Both pieces are set off with matching rosettes and a large double rolled gathered fabric detail around the neckline (nightgown), the elbow length sleeves and all the way round the bottom hem (peignoir). The nightgown has an empire waist. The peignoir, which is very full, fastens under the rosette with a single snap. F-f-fabulous! Bring out your inner Betty Draper. Don would approve ;)

The Measurements: (nightgown) 32-34 inches bust, 37 mid shoulder to hem. (Robe/peignoir) full bust and hips, approx. 15 shoulder to shoulder, approx. 17 sleeves, 39 mid shoulder to hem.

The Condition: It has a small hole on the front near the side of the peignoir, which I only spied at the last moment. So, yes, it's unobtrusive. And scattered picks throughout both pieces. But, again, pretty unobtrusive and quite common for this type and age of lingerie. No other flaws.
