Green Bird with Purple Tail Brooch

Funny and cute felt brooch!
Looks good on anything!

The bird is made of pale green felt, and the feathers are in shades of purple, hand cut and machine embroidered with lovely rainbow glitter thread.

Each bird is absolutely unique because I cut and assemble the parts and colors individually for each one.

The bird has a double layered base (dark purple and dark gray) so the brooch is made of 3 layers of felt firmly stitched through, and is very strong and stable.
The eye is a hand embroidered. There are several crystals glued to the tail for extra glamor :*)
The bird is 9.5 cm long if measured straight, 9cm tall.

I use synthetic felt, because unlike wool felt, synthetic wont be eaten by insects, can be washed (wont shrink) and has more vibrant colors, and is less itchy on the skin.
If you must wash the brooch, do it very gently, do not twist or brake the shape, simply brush it gently while put flat with your hands with soap, wash with water and let dry flat.

The item will be sent in a pretty gift wrap with a note from the author. Allow about 2 weeks for arrival.
