Stained Glass and Porcelain Mosaic Wall Clock - Retro Goodness Starburst Design

Description

This design evolved from a doodle and turned into a retro clock in yummy colors of chocolate, cream and carmel.

Perfect for a kitchen, of course, but will live happily in many locations due to neutral coloring. It will even be fine in a protected (dry, frost-free) outdoor location.

Pieced with stained glass, unglazed porcelain tile, glass gems, glass beads and metallic flecked vitreous tile all on concrete board with a solid wood frame. The gold flecked vitreous tile pieces mark the hours and add a subtle shimmer- see last picture. The 3,6,9,12 hours feature hand nipped inlayed circles and the other hours are marked with tiny hand shaped flowers. Cream colored grout is sealed and stainless steel hanging wire is attached. Signed on reverse by artist Linda Smith.
