Aspen Tree Wall Hanging F

Description

Bring the outdoors to your indoor rooms with this aspen tree trunk sculpture. I made it from white stoneware clay, adding branches and leaves and the little ripples that occur in the bark of these beautiful trees. The glazing is a pretty summertime green for the leaves with a matte finish white for the bark. I used a black pottery stain for the distinctive markings around the knotholes and across the trunk.

The back of this sculpture contains two hanging loops, making it ready to place on your wall with a couple small nails. It's pretty lightweight, no more than a painting or other wall piece.

This branch section measures 18" long x 6" wide x 2" deep. I have several of these trunk sections which would fit together to form a tall tree should you wish to fill a tall narrow section of wall. Contact me for more information on a series of them.

And if your space to fill is horizontal, this sculpture looks nice hung sideways...the hanging loops will work either direction.
