Crow Block

This is a bird block of a crow (#28); the original image is taken from an old bird guidebook, so the numbers are used to identify them. I made a screenprint from that, printed it in a dark brown-black, cut it to fit the painted red wood, dyed it with tea for age and character, and mounted it on the block, finally finishing it with a layer of beeswax and resin. because. It measures approximately 4 3/8" X 3 1/2" and 1 1/2"" deep. It comes installed with a sawtooth hanger for easy hanging, or looks great sitting on a shelf or table.
