Flowing Leaves Candle Sconce

Description

This original peice was designed as a table centerpiece but also makes a beautiful accent.

The table top candle sconce is made of 5 individual panels. Each panel is assembled in the copper foil method and wrapped in traditional lead came. The panels are joined with twisted copper wire that curls to make 'feet' at the base and a loop at the top. The loops are accented with glass beading on fine copper wire

On each side the iridescent hammered glass background has a green hammered glass leaf at a different height to give the effect movement. There are also copper overlays simulating vines that terminate in brass filigree leaves.

It is 9" high and can accommodate a 3" diameter pillar candle. It is recomended to place a plate benieth to catch wax and prevent accidental fires. Tea lights, votives and stick candles may also be used with appropriate holders.
