Fire King Set of two Apples and Cherries Bowls - Vintage 1950s
Description
This is a great set of bowls manufactured in the 1950's by the Anchor-Hocking Company of Lancaster, Ohio under the brand name Fire King. The white glass bowls have vivid graphics of an apple with cherries on either side. The bowls have the design on the front and back of the bowls. Originally sold in a set of four the two that I am selling are the 9.5" size (called a splash bowl by the company the diameter is 9.5" and height 6") and the 8.5" bowl (a mixing bowl with a height 5.5".) The bowls are marked Fire King Oven Ware Made in U.S.A.The condition of the bowls is great - no chips or cracks on the glass. The graphics are intact (no missing paint) and vibrant. A great 1950's set!
