RESERVED FOR FLAQUA IF THAT'S NOT YOU, PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE!Hi! This is another of my original map rose pins. I don't think you can get these elsewhere on Etsy! I've made paper roses for years, but I was lying in bed one night and thought of map roses as I was dozing off! I've always loved the colors of vintage maps and am a sucker for type and text of any form! This rose measures approx. 4" not counting the leaf. I hand cut and assemble the petals..they all turn out different..just like real roses! I like the colors in this one..very sherbert-y. This rose is a combo of I believe tangerine Oklahoma in the bud and it swirls out to purpley I think Oregon..hard to tell in the bud! Then its orange sherbert Russia and pale pineapple NW China and the Mid East. The leaf is minty Florida backed by Iran. It has a pinback attached to the back. I have given this a spray of sealer, ...sturdy, but not totally waterproof! This can be worn on a lapel attached to a tote, hat, headband, barrette, used as decor..where ever you please!
