Purple Quatrefoil Glass Barrette

Description

Made from a beautiful light purple glass with a quatrefoil design sandblasted into the golden iridescent finish, this barrette is handmade in my PA studio. Since I make several of these, the one I ship to you may be a little darker or lighter than the one shown in the photo. Glass like this is tough to photograph well, but if you like it in the photos, you will love it in person.

My barrettes typically measure between 3 1/2" and 3 3/4" (9-10 cm long) and 7/8" (20mm) wide, and stay well in most people's hair. Even if you have extremely fine hair, the French-made clasp on this barrette should hold - my own is very fine and slippery, and I wear one of my own barrettes in it every day. I recommend at least shoulder length hair is your hair is fine and slippery. People with thick hair, this barrette should fit you as well. I have not had a person yet who could not get the barrette to close around their hair.

All of my barrettes shipped within the US come to you in a small, gift ready box. For international shipping, while I usually package them this way as well, I *may* package them in more sturdy packaging so they arrive in in one piece.

I do not recommend wearing my barrettes in a pool or shower. I also do not recommend playing rugby on concrete or any other extreme contact sport while wearing my barrettes. :)
