If you look up 'ferns' on Wikipedia you will learn something like this about them: "'Pteridomania' is a term for the Victorian era craze of fern collecting and fern motifs in decorative art including pottery, glass, metals, textiles, wood, printed paper, and sculpture"

Early in the spring each year, I venture into the great outdoors in search of the first signs of warmer weather. Tiny budding leaves burst off of once barren branches while fern fronds unravel to provide some of Mother Nature's most perfected art forms. Each pair of Leaf Earrings is created using very tiny leaves (or ferns!) that have been pressed for approximately 4 weeks. Then they are carefully applied to painted wooden pieces which get drilled and wrapped to create a pair of truly one-of-a-kind earrings.

This particular pair is an aqua blue color and hangs square.

Made with sterling silver fish hook earring wires.
Don't have your ears pierced? I would be happy to change the hooks to clip-ons upon request, free of charge!

Hangs down 2", Square piece is roughly 1¼" by 1¼"

These earrings are surprisingly light weight and comfortable to wear!
