Orchids, Crocus and Violets on Silk Shibori Silk Scarf

Feast your winter hungry eyes on this lovely, hand painted, crepe de Chine silk scarf. Marvelous shades of orchids and spring crocus accent a pale violet background. Bring on these lovely colors of spring right along with you all day. A bit of the garden moved indoors.

Need to spark up one of last years suits, then add this tied as a jabot or wrapped deep at the neck. Want a traditional look, this beautiful scarf looks marvelous wrapped at the neck and tied with the tails off one shoulder. For those times you want to be a bit edgy, try this loose off the shoulders or wrapped up a bare arm. It measures 7.5 inches by 49.25 inches (19.05 cm by 125.1 cm).

Hand painted using a Japanese Shibori pole wrap technique the acid dyes were then steam set. The scarf was rinsed in a conditioner and has rolled hems. To clean it, wash the scarf in a mild soap like baby shampoo, rinse in a conditioner and hang dried. Press on low or your silk setting if needed.
