PINK AND PURPLE darling felted basket or bowl hand knitted from handspun yarn 100 percent CHARITY DONATION

Description

This darling little felted bowl or basket with a rolled rim and built-in handles was hand knitted and felted by me. My 2 year old helped me string the beads on the yarn in a totally random fashion (if you ever need anything done in a totally random fashion, ask a 2 year old, LoL)

The bottom of the bowl (not shown) is a deep wine colored handspun yarn, spun by me and made from random wools and alpaca.

The upper portion of the bowl is a handspun yarn sent to me from Japan by a customer who wanted to make a donation to our new Youth Center here in the Greater Knoxville area.

This would make a darling permanent basket for a little girl to stash her goodies in... what little girl doesn't like bauble, purple, and pink? Or if you are lacking a little girl, it would make a cute makeup catch-all or put it on your nightstand with your latest knitting project in it!

100% felted wool, plastic beads, wool and alpaca bottom

Care: wipe with damp cloth or machine wash warm, tumble dry, remove while still damp, block on bottom of a bowl

Size: outer diameter 6" across, 3.5" high at rim (handles slightly higher)

I blocked this on a 4" inner-diameter PVC plumbing flange, which was perfect. Should it ever need reblocking, a slightly larger bowl would work. Place the dampened item over the bottom of the bowl and let dry or steam in place.
