Description

Lemongrass is native to Southeast Asia, and made its way to the west through the growing popularity of Thai food. It is well known for its medicinal properties, and is used in holistic medicine both internally and externally to relieve numerous symptoms, ranging from muscle spasms to upset stomach, and also relieves stress and fatigue.

As a medicinal herb, lemon grass is mildly diuretic and a tonic. Lemongrass promotes perspiration, cooling the body in summer and lowering fevers. Lemongrass is the source of citronella, and is well known a mild insect repellent.

You will receive 4 oz of loose leaf tea in a brown resealable, glassine lined paper bag. Our bags are completely recyclable and biodegradable.

4 ounces yields 40-60 cups of tea.

Allow to steep for 8-10 minutes.
