Lace and Rust Tin Assemblage with Frozen Charlotte Doll Mixed Media by Kathy

This is one of my altered tin assemblages. This is an old mint tin, it measures 2 1/4 by 3 4 by 3/4 an inch. This piece was aged to perfection to give it an old look. This is a limited edition, will not be duplicated and will be signed and dated. I used some vintage lace in this assemblage, on the front as my background and inside. Inside this assemblage tells a story of “broken hearts”. On both sides I used some vintage wallpaper as my base. One side is story and on the other side is the focal point and features an antique Frozen Charlotte china doll. I gave this doll a very fancy dress to wear... Also on this side we have some beautiful black vintage trim with beads and more old lace. This assemblage would look lovely tucked within some vintage treasures, decorating your home; or make a great gift for your loved one.
