Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are an interestingly matched couple from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice...she is high strung and nervous, he is calm and laid back. She is bent on matching her girls to wealth and society, he could care less! This older couple may seem mismatched, but they add a lot of spice to the story!Mrs. Bennet wears a pale yellow Regency style gown with ruffles and lace accenting it. Her hair is done in a matronly style with clusters of sausage curls and a white lace edged cap to set it off. Mr. Bennet is staid and calm in his black trousers with vest and charcoal gray coat. He sports bushy mutton chop sideburns, and a slightly balding pate.
