Rose Gold and Sterling Helm Chainmaille Necklace

Rose gold is just gorgeous, don't you think? It's got that nice, warmer glow that can't be matched. 14 karat rose gold filled rings are paired with bright, shiny solid sterling silver in this necklace. The rose gold rings connect smaller sterling rings, with another large sterling ring orbiting the smaller sterling rings all the way down the length of this chain. It's a wonderfully simple but eye catching design.

It features a completely handcrafted (by me) hook and eye clasp, so it's easy to put on and take off. The clasp is also made of sterling silver.

What does gold filled mean? Gold filled wire is a great, relatively new material. It's a thick layer of 14 karat gold that is filled with a base metal (usually brass). It is much, much thicker than gold plating, and should never wear off with normal use. You can get the look and feel of solid gold without the heavy price tag that it can carry. It is a much higher quality material than gold plated. However if you would like this made with solid (not filled) rose gold, please contact me for a price quote.
