Ruffled Collar/Necklace in blackberry coloured taffeta OPERA

Description

A ruffle of grandeur, OPERA is a textile necklace that is both sumptuous and deliciously coloured.

Made from blackberry shot with pink taffeta, the ruffle is cinched and sewn onto a latte coloured velvet ribbon, and decoratively edged in a matching latte shade of thread. A showering of glass and acrylic beads in shades of grey, purple and pink adds sparkle, texture and detail.

Extremely feminine and eye-catching, OPERA fastens with a lobster claw clasp and small extender chain, finished with a milky white glass nugget with coppery undertones.

This co-ordinates perfectly with the OPERA Ruffled and Beaded Wrist Cuff, if you fancy glittering the night away! Both items are made from the same fabric - you can appreciate from the photographs the way that different lighting affects the overall colour and 'mood' of the material.
In strong sunlight, the predominant colour is aubergine whilst in natural indoor light, the colour ranges from reddish plum through purple to aubergine. Under electric light, the colours alter with movement and strength of light.

This collar fastens comfortably between 15 1/2" (39.5 cms) and 16 1/2" (42 cms) approximately, via the extender chain.
