Original collage created on paper. This collage was the very first one created in the new batch in January 09.

Its put together using magazine cuttings, packing tape, newspaper and paint. The technique with the tape is an old one where you stick the tape down onto your material (paper) and then soak it in water for a while. Then you rub all the paper off the tape and your left with the ink on the tape. Then all you have to do is layer your artwork with it! Her wings and the ACTION text are done with this technique.

The bottom half of the piece is newspaper with a layer of paint over the top to create texture. You can see it best up close.

There is a bit of a superhero feel with this one, way more sexy than the ones I knew when I was a kid! She was created in Jan 2009 as a new batch of works to sell at the Glebe markets in Sydney.

This was a lot of fun to make, and hopefully makes someone happy to have on their wall, desk or where ever.

Paper size is A4 - 21cm x 29cm or 8" x 11.5"
The collage does not come with frame, but this size frame is an easy to find standard size.

The collage will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard mailer for protection.
