Rainbow Burst - Fused Glass Pendant

Description

Inspired by a Thursday Sweet Treat (see http://thursdaysweettreat.blogspot.com/) Creative Challenge, this little beauty burst its way into fruition.

Rainbow burst is a one of a kind fused glass pendant with a black base and gradation of violet, blue, green, yellow and ultimately a red gold that captures the horizon. Like a rainbow that just couldn’t contain itself any longer!

The pendant was created from fused art glass handmade in my ArtLair. After an initial kiln firing, the piece was shaped and re-fired to achieve a beautiful polish as well as strength and durability. The silver plated bail is affixed to the back using a super strong glass compatible epoxy.

Measures 1 inches long (including the bail) and is ½ inch wide.
