Kelp ring 9

Description

Like seaweed, copper wire is wound around and nestled within a sterling silver hand fabricated channel ring. The patina coloring gives a dark richness and definition to the piece. This ring is 8-9 mm wide and approximately 2mm thick. Organic yet mechanical in appearance, it is a ring that can be worn by both men and women.

Part of an ongoing series of work, this ring is inspired by the giant tangled kelp washed up on the western beaches of New Zealand.

This is a unique piece. Although other kelp rings have and will be made, no two are exactly alike.

A size 7 & 1/2, this ring is ready for immediate shipment.
