Sublime - Lampwork Glass Focal Bead from Mermaid Glass

Description

A wavey, softly spiraling hourglass-shaped focal made in serene hues of purple and blue. The spiraling motions seems vaguely retro, but the sleek shape is completely modern.

Over a base of transparent pale blue, I've gravity spiraled my random stringer in colors of lavender, sky blue, light turquoise and pale ink blue. The bead is entirely encased in a second layer of transparent light blue for extra depth and clarity.

1 hourglass lampwork glass focal bead measures 38.5mm long x 15mm

Created by me in my home studio of American glass on 3/32 mandrel.

Annealed in a digital kiln for strength and longevity, individually inspected and carefully cleaned with a Dremel tool prior to shipment.
