Spool Knitted Handsewn Jewelry Box

Description

This lovely little trinket box is made from spool knitted yarn that has been handsewn together. There is a cute red vintage button to hold it closed, and a pink striped wool lining. The pointy Gnome-ish hinged lid is stuffed with PLA corn fibers, and has a darling little pom pom sewn to the top. It is just the thing to hold the jewelry box open without tipping over. There is a pinch of organic lavender sewn in the bottom of the box for a delicate natural scent.

The recycled wool on the lid is the perfect place to hook your favorite earrings (be extra careful with your fine wired earrings when poking into the wool). The box is big enough for a necklace, a few brooches, or a couple of bracelets.

This box is in my new line of spool knitted items. It is one of a kind in that I can never reproduce it exactly, however I can use the same design to make a larger or smaller box or use custom colors.

For a small extra fee ($5) I can use all wool yarns.
