See No Evil (Toy Series Painting Number 1)

Description

Mr. Potato Head was my friend long before he ever starred in Toy Story. I got him for Christmas 1984. He was portable, because all his parts fit inside him, so I took him with me everywhere. He entertained me in restaurants, doctor's offices and lines at the bank-- all the places where I was expected to sit quietly.

When a friend's daughter picked him up on a recent trip to the toy store, I decided to renew my friendship with Mr. Potato Head. The thought of a series of See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil came to me almost immediately. I had so much fun painting him, and hope he brings a little of that fun to you.
