A Deer Little Plate

Description

This plate was wheelthrown of buff stoneware. After bisque firing, I added the underglaze designs, and coated with a creamy glaze, edges done in a green that takes on a little bit of an olive color, and breaks to some light blues.
Measures about 8 1/2" across and about 1" high.

This would be a wonderful plate to serve cookies to the kids afterschool, use as a special occasion dinner plate, or even hang on the wall with a plate hanger.

I made 3 of these plates and this is the largest. Although it's the largest, it is slightly imperfect, being a little bowed on the bottom. It sits flat on a surface, but has a convex? concave? only slightly on the bottom. I have discounted it for this reason, so this is a great deal, If you like perfect, however, this is not the plate for you.
