1970's Golden vintage whistle. Necklace
Description
These are rather rare. One's in this retro style/shape, even more so.Vintage brass whistle pendant dates back to the early-mid seventies. It measures a bit under 2 inches. Golden in tone, with wonderfully nostalgic age spots adding to its treasure-like wonder.
Whistle almost looks as well like a golden snuff vial or antique perfume pendant. Yet you can tell it is definitely in fact, a whistle.
Comes on a either a gold plated chain, or darker brass, measuring approx 24 inches. Corresponding lobster clasp. Toggle clasp available upon request.
This is a longer necklace, adding to its character.
You cant blow a whistle that hangs around your collarbone!
Yes, whistle does work and is sanitized, rather fun. I drive my boyfriend nuts with it :)
Such the treasure, this necklace. Whether fashion obsessed, vintage obsessed, or seeking something different and quirky or just plain extraordinary, I cant express how great these whistles are.
With all items, please avoid wearing in water. Gold plating will peel off in hot water. Brass can sometimes turn to a red rust in hot water. Copper can change to a brass tone. Bonding glue on rings/a few necklaces I carry, can absorb in hot water as well. Thus, pops off. I do wish I could use real gold, but it would contribute to prices raised significantly. I love being able to keep my items affordable to anyone. :)
