Abstract Lines neck scarf

Description

I painted this scarf with an abstract linear composition. I used the batik technique which consists of reserving areas with wax and then adding colour. It’s painted in greens and browns, leaving some lighter tones.

It’s steam fixed, so colours are bright and permanent maintaining all the silks softness and shine. I painted on a 55x55 cm. (21 inches) hand rolled ponge 5 silk scarf.

*Wash gently in cool water and press while damp for best results.
*Please note colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
