In the Pink
Description
I made this lampwork bead on a 3/32 mandrel. This bead is typical of my free form style. The black base offers a dramatic background for the spectacular sparkle of bright pink dichroic glass. I followed the lay of the dichro by carving a deep crevasse into the surface of the bead. Dark amethyst encircled dots enhance the edge of the fissure. Not only achieving the ulimate in distictive difference, this focal bead is an absolute raving beauty!Added on Nov 02, 2009
