Description
This is an original copper plate line etching with aquatint and is the sixth in an edition of 100. The image area is 2" x 3" and with the archival matting it will fit into a standard 5" x 7" frame. The plate was inked and printed by me on my vintage etching press.I've made a series of bird etchings by observing wildlife in my backyard. I found that when you closely observe them, birds show a lot of personality! I'm also fascinated by their feet--so strong and delicate at the same time. I like the Japanese quality of the composition.
