Painting #45 in my Painting a Day project (with time off on weekends and holidays, because a girl needs a life...). I live on a small farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded by forest. I often find inspiration from the colors and forms of the natural world.

The mountains are endless inspiration. The colors are changing as spring arrives. I could sit outside for hours and paint as long as there is sunshine.

This is oil on panel, 6 inches by 8 inches. Panel is supported by box backing approximately 3/4 inch deep. May be left unframed.
