DESCRIPTION:
This is a little collage I felt inspired to do because I needed a little black dress for an evening Gala for the American Heart Association Fundraiser. It occured to me that a woman should always have a little black dress ready to go to such an event. Hence, this piece of art.

I used real (not copies) old vintage letters as the background as well as the photo of the little girl and the ticket. I also used the words "Every girl needs a little black dress" as you can see. The harliquin border really works with this piece. I used a new crackle technique on the sides and I loved it. Look at those crackles! The entire piece is "antiqued" with a "vintage" stamp pad. It is protected with polyurethane.

It is signed on the back and dated.
