Description
"Blue Poppies"In painting "Blue Poppies," I used a three-color palette of blue, mauve and green watercolors to first texture the background. The final step was to paint the unique, expressionist blue poppies. Who says poppies cannot be deep blue and mauve?
At the size of 7 1/2 x 11 inches, "Blue Poppies" is signed and dated on the back by the artist. It has been painted in professional quality watercolors on Arches 140 lb. watercolor paper and will be shipped sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard, enclosed in a mailer for its protection.
This listing is for the original watercolor painting only. The second and third photos reflect how the painting might look if matted and framed.
