This painting was featured in the August 2009 issue of the beautiful decor magazine Romantic Homes! The painting was chosen by the editors who used the design to then source similar items, ie. sofa, basket, flowers, to create the look for a French decor theme. I'm honored that my design and artwork were chosen!

This is a large 18" x 18" one-of-a-kind original oil painting. It depicts a French interior sitting room, or salon with luxe velvet draperies, a vintage Louis XV gilded settee with pink velvet upholstery fabric, and artwork inspired by the French painter Claude Monet titled Water Lilies.
This painting is from my European Interiors series showcasing the art and furniture of Europe.

It is painted on gallery wrapped stretched canvas with painted sides. The sides are painted a beautiful deep blue-violet color that beautifully compliments the artwork.
The canvas is professionally made and stretched with heavyweight 10 oz., 100% cotton duck fabric along with warp-resistant stretcher bars.

In addition, I have applied a coat of high quality varnish to the painting that offers protection, as well as preservation to your investment.

Framing is not required unless you prefer one- it's wired and ready to hang!
