There is an actress/singer from Germany named Hildegard Knef. A true diva, in the 1960s she sang a very famous song called Für mich, sollt rote Rosen regnen (For me, there should be a rain of red roses). The song is her singing about being a young girl and fantasizing about one day being famous and having everyone adore her. I name this necklace in honor of her!

I made this lovely piece from a piece of green, polka dot vintage ribbon white I sewed by hand, attaching black lacquer chain and a celluloid red rose. For the diva lurking in all of us!

Length of necklace: With pendant 25 cm (nearly 10 inches) Without pendant 19 cm (7.5 inches)

Length of entire chain open: 45 cm (nearly 18 inches)
