Summer Breeze
Description
This miniature vase was sculpted from white earthenware, then I carved a simple palm tree in low relief. The glaze is glossy, and muted, like a picture slightly out of focus. I especially like the way the palm area turned out, like it is swaying gently in the breeze with an aura of green around the leaves.I made the wild red and yellow tulips from paper and watercolor, and they are built on the thinnest florist wire I've ever seen. They are posable, and removable.
This set is suitable for a 1:12 Scale adult dollhouse or display piece for anyone.
The vase is just under 5/8" tall and 3/8" at the widest. The vase and flowers together right now, are 1 3/4" tall, that would vary a little on how you want to pose the flowers.
