Snowdrops
Description
This felted sculpture was inspired by the first tiny blooms of snowdrops which came up early this year January in my backyard. Although they're small and easily looked over, they always let me know that spring is not far away. The snowdrop flowers and buds were completely needlefelted by hand, and then they were felted onto a styrofoam cone shape (which was also felted with white wool) using the wetfelting technique.
