Me And My Shadow Original Stitched Vintage Photograph

The other morning I woke up and thought to myself "You know, I've stitched a lot of things in my life, but I've never stitched a shadow." And why not? Wendy stitched the one from Peter Pan. Now it's my turn!Luckily I had this lovely black and white vintage photograph to work with. I love this photograph! Taken in the 40s, there is great wallpaper on the wall and the girl has a truly womanly look about her somehow. She also is casting a shadow which is what I stitched in red wool thread.
The embroidered photograph is mounted on thick, red cardstock (4 by 6). You can add it to your collection, prop it up on your bookshelf, have it framed, or, if you are feeling especially generous, even use it as a card (it comes with an envelope.)
As the photograph is quite old, there are a few slight spots of fading on its surface but it is in an overall excellent condition.
